With over 4 decades in the industry, she has been contributing towards preserving and promoting Indian weaves to the world. Her brand ‘Seematti’ & every outfit in the store have a story behind it, leaving the visitors with a unique perspective towards fashion & its evolution.
Beena Kannan well known for the gritty way in which she turned around the family business, is weaving a different story – through silks continue to be the predominant theme. She certainly took seemati to new heights and in 2007, the retail chain even entered the Limca Book of Records for the longest — half a km long silk sari created by her.
Beena Kannan truly believes that there is no point ‘chasing success. It will come to you if you are passionate about what you do.’This is the mantra that has helped her retain her cool through the most stressful periods of her life.

Saudi Arabian women hitted a new milestone in the field of sports, through a very unique initiative launched by Saudi Arabia's Shoura Council member Lina Al-Maeena, and Belgium's business woman and philanthropist ambassador to the Kingdom, Dominique Mineur
This avid sports lover, has been trying to encourage Saudi women’s involvement in the sports sector since her return to the Kingdom in 2000. She founded Jeddah United, Saudi Arabia’s first private female basketball club, in 2003 and has since established a private company to run sports events and expand the sports scene in Saudi Arabia. In 2004, she was selected to address the French Senate on International Women’s Day.
Almaeena is a member of the Young Saudi Business Committee and Sports Investment Committee in the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kingdom Young Business Women Council. She was 71st on a list of the 200 Most Powerful Women in the Middle East by Forbes Magazine in 2014. She also won the entrepreneurship award at the Women Leaders Forum in 2010 and is one of the few Saudi women to have climbed Mount Everest.

Nadia Abdul Aziz is the first Emirati Lady to head a UAE association in freight and logistics and also the first Emirati woman to hold a global position as VP of the FIATA, the largest non profit, non government freight forwarding federation based in Zurich and working in 150 countries.
Nadia is a business, marketing and logistics professional with an MBA degree from the American University -Dubai. She heads various non profit organizations and everything she does will incorporate giving back to the community in the UAE or beyond the UAE.
A supporter for professional women, Nadia continues to supports Indian special needs students by fund raising and sponsorships. In addition to this she has represented the UAE in India and in many global conferences.
She has won the Dubai Quality Excellence award for representative Entities under her leadership of NAFL last year, as part of many appreciation awards and accolades.

Starting off with a staff of five people, Ms Al Danhani took her turn as a barista in the bakery. Since then, the meteoric rise of her PappaRoti franchise is nothing short of groundbreaking.
